How In-Home Board & Train With Me Works:
My Board & Train program gives your dog the perfect balance of structure, consistency, and compassion; all within a peaceful home setting that feels familiar and safe.
Your dog will live as part of our household, receiving multiple focused training sessions each day along with real-world practice woven into their daily routines. This helps transform new skills into consistent habits your dog can confidently and reliably use back in your home.

Unlike many other boot camps and training facilities, We generally only welcome one board-and-train client at a time ensuring your dog receives truly focused, individualized attention.
Training is reinforced through play, rest, household interactions, outdoor activities, and daily enrichment; which creates meaningful learning that actually lasts.
Whether you have a puppy you want to start off in your home on the right paw, or an anxious dog from the shelter that needs extra nurture, or an older dog that needs some refinement - We can build a plan that supports your unique needs

Schedule-Driven:
The curriculum is built around your available dates so your dog can learn while being safely cared for in my home environment. Ideal if you're traveling or on vacation. -
Curriculum-Driven:
The length of stay is determined by your specific training goals, allowing for a structured, results-oriented plan.
Whichever option you choose, you'll be reunited with your old pup knowing new tricks.
Customizable Training Goals:
Each dog receives an individualized training plan based on your goals, your dogs unique personality, and their history.

For new students: an over-the-phone assessment, in-person meeting and/or a 1 day trial boarding is required so we can build an accurate curriculum and confirm this program would be a good fit.
Board & Train Pricing:
Board & Train generally requires a minimum of 7 days to see meaningful progress.
More complex goals may require a longer stay to achieve reliable results.
All programs are fully customizable to your dog’s needs, your priorities, and your schedule.

A comprehensive session at pickup where I teach you everything your dog has learned and how to successfully maintain, apply, and reinforce their new skills at home.

Grooming / Treatments - We do not provide grooming or treatments in house. Pets requiring grooming during their stay or experiencing flea or tick problems will be groomed or treated with mobile groomer or appropriate facility at the owner’s expense.
Requirements

Health - All pets must be healthy and free of any contagious illnesses. Pets exhibiting symptoms of illness may be refused from boarding. Pets with non-contagious chronic issues, disabilities or requiring special medical attention are welcome.

Vaccinations - Pets must be up to date on required vaccines. We request that all pets also be on active flea and tick preventative. Vaccination record will be requested prior to boarding. (See the Required Vaccine List HERE)

Spayed / Neutered - Pets may be required to be spayed or neutered for boarding approval, depending on age, temperament, and compatibility with the household environment.

Grooming / Hygiene - All pets must be well groomed and in acceptable clean hygienic condition upon drop off. For pets with extended stays that may require periodic grooming - arrangements can be made in advance with your preferred mobile groomer to come to us. At pet owners expense.

Introductory Evaluation: If your pet has not boarded or trained with us before, an evaluation may be required.
Program Suitability
My goal is always to provide an effective, safe and supportive plan for your dog.
While In-Home Board & Train is an excellent option for many dogs, it is not the right program for every behavioral concern.
Examples include:

Severe debilitating separation anxiety

Potty Training or Persistent indoor marking

Unprovoked aggression towards humans or pets
-
Severe fear, panic or shutdown behaviors

Self-injury tendencies
-
Excessive chewing, clawing, or vocalization from distress

Severe resource guarding
-
Behaviors that require a controlled clinical or multi-trainer environment
Our In-Home Board & Train is not suited to safely or effectively address these types of concerns.

Some training goals may require extended duration, purchase of additional follow-up training sessions or external service referrals.
Long-term success depends on pet-parents' ongoing practice, structure, and consistency. While my methods are science-based and backed by a strong track record; no trainer can ethically guarantee results.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm your reservation

The remaining balance is due in full before or at drop-off to begin the program.

Deposits are applied toward the total program cost but remain non-refundable.

There are no refunds for services already rendered or partially completed.
